The Gypsy Vanner horse breed is beautiful. smart. athletic. intelligent. calm.

Gypsy Vanner Crosses

Gypsy Vanner horses are considered to be one of the most beautiful and easy going horse breeds that exist today. These horses are incredibly receptive to training, compact, naturally even-tempered, strong enough to pull a fully loaded cart, and have unsurpassed stamina. This makes the breed a good choice for anyone, including those who have never owned a horse before.

We use our horses for ranch work as well as for leisure (beach rides, camping, exploring, trail rides).

We choose to cross breed our Gypsies to reduce the amount of hair/feathering and to add some height. Pure Gypsies generally range in the 14H area and have long flowing manes, tails and feathering on their legs and angles. We just like a little less feathering and hair to reduce maintenance (burrs, tangles, and grooming requirements). We also find that crossing Gypsies with another breed significantly reduces the chances of CPL (a common disorder in pure-bred Gypsies).

Long story short, we want them pretty and gritty. We ask a LOT of our horses and expect them to be a safe and enjoyable ride! We like riding the fanciest, yet most mindful of horses everywhere we go.
